Bone Wars is a new comic play about two dinosaur hunters who went mad and destroyed each other. True story. Nicholas Cooke and I wrote it, roped in the brilliant Michelle Wormleighton to perform and we’re all looking forward to kicking off your Edinburgh Fringe mornings with a bang.

It’s on in the Counting House (Lounge) at 11am every day from August 3rd to 13th, and it’s free. You can follow us on Facebook, but mainly you can follow us into the venue and find out exactly what being named Othniel does to a boy. Hint: nothing ‘right’.

We think it’s going to be a lot of fun and we hope you like it. And what’s not to like? Jokes. Bones. Top hats. It’s all happening. Click here for details!

Georges the Spider

We at Bone Wars Inc. are delighted to have the brilliant Michelle Wormleighton joining us on drums* and acting!

Don’t forget to also catch Michelle’s hilarious and unique character comedy Georges the Spider at Moriarty’s: 2:30pm, Aug 4th to 27th (except Tuesdays). It’s all but certain to be your best ever time involving a spider. Click for details!

Edward Drinker Cope vs. Othniel Charles Marsh: Live!

My show at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival which was to be a stand-up show will now be a work-in-progress comic play with Nicholas Cooke.

It’s called Edward Drinker Cope vs. Othniel Charles Marsh: Live! and it’s a true, mad story about two very clever scientists who discover the dinosaurs, become BFFs, go mad with jealousy and destroy each other.

Tickets on-sale now. March 9th 2017, 8pm at McPhabb’s Glasgow. £5. Should be fun, come along!

Delighted to say that Lewis Macleod’s Wired News – which I was lucky enough to write for along with many fine and funny people – has been nominated for Best Scripted Comedy at the BBC Audio Drama Awards 2017!

Congrats to Lewis and the cast, producer Gus and a’body else. Me and the 300 other writers are all going to the ceremony in one big suit.
